But I wasn't always this wealthy… I actually started in this game as a broker.

But not just any broker… I worked for a private stock broking company (I can't actually name them) that catered to extremely wealthy day-traders.
This was an amazing experience for me and one that would change my life completely (more on this in a sec) as I got to work one on one with DOZENS of the most talented day traders in the world!

I'm not kidding. These guys would walk out of the office making tens of thousands… to hundreds of thousands of dollars…
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Could You Imagine Making $100,000 In A Single Day? It was nuts— our clients were making more in ONE DAY than I would make in a WHOLE year! I wanted out of the broker business…
…and into to the trading business. But there was a problem…

Yep..... Some of these guys had graduated from world's TOP universities…taking honours in mathematical sciences and other highly-specialized subjects…
There were also other more street-smart types that were college drop-outs-- nonetheless brilliant, these guys had developed their own methods of trading to extract money from the markets…

There was one guy in particular who did VERY well… he was our company's third largest account and I was his personal broker, for the sake of the story we'll call him 'John Banks' (this isn't his real name obviously).
Over the course of two years of managing his account—John and I became really good friends.
We actually both loved to fish (there was one time we went out on John's boat and both nearly drowned but that's a whole other story!) Anyways…
John was a combination of both book smarts and street smarts… he had graduated from Yale, receiving honors in Mathematical Science…
He had always been interested in using his smarts in the financial markets... and when he left college he went STRAIGHT into trading… (he was already a successful trader at the time and had used his skills to pay for college!)

I didn't know John at this point but…
